Job DescriptionDuties will include:
- Work with a team to provide first line support for all IT related Issues (in person or over the phone)
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring, maintaining & resolving issues with computer systems and networks
- Diagnosing system errors and other issues
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Taking ownership of issues and driving them to completion
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Training new staff
- Writing and revising training manuals for our knowledge base
- Upkeep and support of Microsoft based Server environments including AD, SQL, O365, SharePoint online and file and print services
- Maintain the IT Asset Register & IT Service desk

Desired Skills and ExperiencePreferred Skill Set & Experience:
- Minimum 6 months-2 years experience
- Knowledge of Server 2012 & 2019 & 2022
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Experience with creating Azure virtual machine, backups & restores
- Management of users on Office 365
- Experience with VMware & Hyper V Servers
- Experience in supporting Windows 10 & Microsoft Office
- Some experience with cloud based phone systems
- Some experience with Windows PowerShell scripting
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A genuine passion for all things IT including hardware, software and networking
- A suitable IT qualification from TAFE (or similar)
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to explain solutions to non-technical users.
